Nice. The a6000 can be had for 250 to 300. A6500 is 400 to 500 used. The a6400 iv seen for around same price. And a new a6600 cost now around 1200 usd. Im waiting for the a6600 used around 600 700 usee to replace one of my a6300.

I have a Canon R8. It takes amazing photos and videos. You need to get good glass. You have to do that with any camera. I’ve had no problem editing using Adobe software.

You forgot to mention something about Sony and 3rd party lenses. Sony cameras that can shoot faster than 15fps has that capped off lower if you use 3rd party. I run an R7 and adapt lenses, including 3rd party with absolutely zero issues. Even an older EF 70-200 F2.8L version 2 has very fast and accurate AF on that R7. The only lense I have AF issues with is the Sigma 150-600C, where it loses subject at the 600 end quite easily. I do wish it had better low light performance, but it's not bad for a Canon APS-C. I do have plans to eventually grab an R6mkII. I am still, for the most part, happy going Canon since my first camera over 16 years ago with the RebelXT.

Dude talks to fast. Does not show you buttons and how to use them. Don’t watch this until you are already pretty familiar with the camera. Half the time his thumb covers up the view of what button he’s pushing.

The RP can also shoot 25 and 50 fps if you set it to PAL. Not sure why no one ever mentions that.

Please don’t fall into the consumer money trap of which camera is better. “It’s not the car, it’s the driver” the best camera for you is the one you can afford. Learn your equipment and its limitations and make the best of it.

when you said you tested all Sony camera that made me look at how many cameras Sony has. 177, that is a lot. I am Sony shooter. Canon has amazing AF as well. I think Sony is the best at low light hence who I changed from Panasonic (GH5). Very nice video.

Someone forgot to tell that if you use DJI software for edit - you lose copyright on your video. It's writen in the public contract that you agree with all DJI products when you start using it.

Does it make sense to compare two different brands? Only ignorant people don't know what they want. Nikon is Nikon... it has its fans and Fujii has its fans... These are two completely different brands and everyone knows it. What can we compare?

The video makes impression of the gatekeeping opinion of the Sony lover. From the first two minute you can see that author don't really try to make an independent comparison. It's very long time that Sony not outperforming Canon cameras in low light. They are almost identical in that field. Autofocus on Sony is not better than on Canon. In most cases Canon autofocus will outperform Sony. Yes, Canon just started to open the mount for third party companies, but in same time Canon doesn't limit users with third party lenses in camera performans, and Sony does limit you in frame rate. If you want to see real results - just watch more trustful comparisons. For example Jared Polin or Tony and Chalsey Northrop. Or PetaPixel Guys, even they give a bit less detailed information in comparisons.

a7iii is going to be a classic, if not already. Hard to beat it. You can find used ones for $1k now. I can't really think of any camera in this league from past or present that can rival what this camera can do for $1k. If you do think of one it most likely is lacking in the photography and AF dept. (like the GH5) Even though the GH5 shoots WAY BETTER video imo, the a7iii absolutely demolishes the GH5 on the stills side.

Was a Canon shooter for 20+ years. After the switch from EF to RF and no incusion of 3rd party lenses. I decided I would try a Sony A7 IV at the same time as I owned my Canon R6. I ended up selling all my canon gear for Sony. Why? I could buy much more lenses for the same price of just a couple of Canon RF lenses.
